Fleet Management Coordinator

Your Tasks

We are looking for a Fleet Management Coordinator to join our team at DB Schenker in Rostock. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Monitoring and controlling the European trailer and swap body pool in terms of inspection and service deadlines
  • Coordinating and assigning repair orders to workshops and service providers in Germany, Sweden, and other European countries
  • Handling tire defects and failures
  • Regularly creating key performance indicators for trailer availability and inspection and service deadlines
  • Communicating with disposition, workshops, and transport companies on a European level
  • Communicating with suppliers, inspection organizations
  • Handling warranty and guarantee claims with manufacturers
  • Claim management and damage regulation in cooperation with other Schenker houses, insurers, and shipping companies
  • Checking incoming invoices for carried out repairs and services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MS Office skills
  • Technical understanding of vehicle technology and construction, particularly for trailers
  • English language skills in writing and speaking (not necessarily conversationally fluent)
  • German language skills in writing and speaking
