We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at Forschungszentrum Jülich, focusing on the development of coherent spin shuttling for scalable semiconductor qubits. The successful candidate will contribute to the experimental demonstration of spin coherence during shuttling, shuttling-compatible high-fidelity qubit control, and the advancement of a shuttling-based architecture with 2D-connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate and experimentally characterize spin coherence during shuttling
  • Develop and implement shuttling-compatible high-fidelity qubit control techniques
  • Investigate the use of T-Junctions as a step towards qubit grids
  • Advance a shuttling-based architecture with 2D-connectivity
  • Migrate to industrially fabricated devices
Your Profile:

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with a Master's degree and PhD in physics or a similar discipline. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with quantum control experiments on quantum dot qubits, good software development skills, and experience with sub-Kelvin cryogenic techniques. Strong communication and mentoring skills are also essential.
