We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at Forschungszentrum Jülich. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research group focused on developing scalable quantum computing architectures using semiconductor qubits.
Key Responsibilities- Experimentally demonstrate coherent spin shuttling and shuttling-compatible high-fidelity qubit control
- Develop and implement novel techniques for qubit control and manipulation
- Collaborate with the research group to advance the development of a shuttling-based architecture for quantum computing
- Contribute to the design and implementation of experiments to test the scalability of the shuttling-based architecture
- Publish research results in top-tier scientific journals
- PhD in Physics or a related field
- Strong background in quantum mechanics, quantum information processing, and semiconductor physics
- Experience with quantum control experiments on quantum dot qubits
- Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python or C++
- Good communication and teamwork skills
