About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to lead our database software development team in building large-scale database systems optimized for efficient query processing and easy to use. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for growing and leading a team of talented engineers, designing, implementing, testing, and deploying database services, and prioritizing the backlog.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of database services
  • Mentor a team of software engineers and provide leadership on complex technical issues
  • Shape a culture of innovation and empower engineers to leverage their full potential
  • Work with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements
  • Define visionary products and hire and lead a team to deliver them
About the Team

Our cloud data warehouse, Amazon Redshift, manages all the work needed to set up, operate, and scale a data warehouse. With Redshift Spectrum, our customers can easily query data from Amazon S3, scaling their warehouse out to Exabytes and integrating data in all kinds of file formats from their data lake into their analytics.
