M.C. Dean is seeking a highly skilled Construction Surveillance Specialist to join our team. As a Construction Surveillance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical inspections of individuals and vehicles seeking access to the site to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials and tools entering the site to identify potential security threats.
- Perform access control functions at all site entry points, ensuring only authorized personnel are granted access.
- Assist with material inspections at secure storage areas and escort inspected materials to the construction site as required.
- Report incidents and anomalies to the assigned team lead and participate in daily coordination meetings.
- Support the documentation of reported incidents and maintain detailed logs of construction activities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on construction progress, compliance issues, and observed irregularities.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of four years of experience in construction security, physical security, industrial security, or government security.
- Top Secret clearance required.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience as a Construction Surveillance Specialist at overseas or domestic project sites.
Abilities:
- Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
- Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
- Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
- Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
- Possesses good vision, the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
