Construction Security Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Surveillance Technician to join our team at M.C. Dean. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical inspections of individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the site to prevent prohibited items and unauthorized personnel from gaining access.
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials and tools entering the site to identify potential security risks and anomalies.
- Assist with material inspections at secure storage areas and escort materials as required.
- Report incidents and participate in daily coordination meetings with the CST team.
- Comply with CST Contractor's Site Safety Plan and maintain accurate logs of construction activities and incidents.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED and a minimum of four years of experience in construction security, physical security, industrial security, or government security.
- Top Secret clearance required.
Desired Skills
- Previous CST experience at overseas or domestic project sites preferred.
Abilities
- Lift up to 100 pounds, relocate heavy equipment, and work at heights up to 60 feet.
- Excellent vision, hearing, and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and assess security threats and anomalies.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
