Job Title: Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Logistics team in creating a fast, reliable, and transparent delivery experience. As a key member of our Deliveries tribe, you will be responsible for empowering a talented team of engineers to develop and continuously improve the stability and scalability of our services.

Your Mission:

  • Lead and empower a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Develop and implement large-scale software systems that meet the needs of our riders and customers.
  • Work closely with other teams to communicate solutions with technical and non-technical stakeholders and solve challenges.
  • Ensure operation and technical excellence in the team.
  • Practice modern software development methodologies such as continuous delivery, TDD, scrum, and collaborate with product managers.
  • Participate in code reviews and application debugging and diagnosis.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and previous hands-on programming experience in developing backend applications or native mobile applications.
  • Experience in designing and implementing large-scale software systems.
  • Curiosity, creative problem-solving abilities, and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and communicate with stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

  • A completed technical degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with building and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, cloud providers, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with various AWS services such as RDS, DDB, Lambda, CW, EC2, SQS, SNS.
  • Experience with release automation processes.
