Engineering Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Digital Charging Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and guiding our software engineering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions in the area of e-mobility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach software development teams to deliver stable and high-quality software solutions
  • Develop and grow people through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
  • Work closely with value teams, product owners, architects, and agile coaches to understand their needs and ensure successful project delivery
  • Advocate and advance modern software development practices across the teams to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Help develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices
Requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in developing backend services and 6+ years of leadership experience
  • Excellent skills in Java/Kotlin development with Spring Framework (Spring Boot)
  • Knowledge of Quarkus.io, Web technologies (REST, XML, JSON), relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and cloud services providers (Azure)
  • Confident use of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless functions (Azure Functions)
