Job Title: Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our software engineering team at EcoVadis. As a key member of our Technology and Platform Services department, you will be responsible for the overall performance and success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of 6-8 software engineers to deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Develop and maintain the development process, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to understand business needs and priorities.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively across engineering and product leadership teams.
  • Make informed decisions based on evidence and data.
  • Oversee staffing and team technology capabilities, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and resources.
  • Work closely with tech leaders to promote craftsmanship, availability, and scalability.
  • Identify and manage risks throughout the product development process.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience as a software engineering leader or manager.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, and conflict handling.
  • Experience and passion for hiring, growing, and guiding people.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Good knowledge of modern web application development (Azure,.NET, and React are a plus).
  • Self-driven and team player.
  • Ability to work well in an international and multicultural environment in a fast-growing company.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
