About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control professional to join our team at 1790 SmithKline Beecham Pharma GmbH & Co KG. As Head of Quality Control, you will be responsible for leading our Quality Control team and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Control team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control procedures and protocols

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Pharmaceuticals, Biology, Microbiology, or Virology
  • Considerable relevant experience in the pharma industry and management experience in QC Laboratories
  • Experience in Regulatory and cGMP Quality Processes
  • Solid understanding of QMS, its application and business objectives
  • Good knowledge of operating experience of pharmaceuticals plants, including Quality Control Operations
  • Good knowledge of Virology, Biologicals product and quality control processes
  • Excellent people management skills and ability to identify and promote talent
