Head of Quality Control

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Quality Control to join our team at 1790 SmithKline Beecham Pharma GmbH & Co KG. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality control strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Lead a team of quality control specialists to conduct testing and inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize quality control procedures.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures, protocols, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct audits and investigations to identify and correct quality control issues.
- Degree qualified in Pharmaceuticals, Biology, Microbiology, Virology, or a related field.
- Considerable relevant experience in the pharma industry and management experience in QC Laboratories.
- Experience in Regulatory and cGMP Quality Processes.
- Solid understanding of QMS, its application, and business objectives.
- Good knowledge of operating experience of pharmaceuticals plants, including Quality Control Operations.
- Good knowledge of Virology, Biologicals product, and quality control processes.
- Excellent people management skills and ability to identify and promote talent.
- Excellent QC analytical testing skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Good project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Sound financial management skills.
- Excellent English skills.
