Job Title: Head of Quality Control

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Quality Control to join our team at 1790 SmithKline Beecham Pharma GmbH & Co KG. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Lead a team of quality control specialists to conduct testing and inspections of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize quality control procedures.
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures, protocols, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct audits and investigations to identify and correct quality control issues.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Pharmaceuticals, Biology, Microbiology, Virology, or a related field.
  • Considerable relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong background in quality control and assurance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of quality control specialists.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality control issues.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, with the ability to ensure compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent analytical testing skills, with experience in quality control testing and inspections.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team of quality control specialists.
  • Good project management skills, with experience in leading quality control projects and initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with experience in communicating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Sound financial management skills, with experience in managing budgets and resources.
