DevOps Engineer for Automation and Digital Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to lead our Automation, Digital, and Data Science team at our largest manufacturing site in the Small Molecules and Oncology Operating Unit.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing global automation standards, developing project plans, and creating strategic initiatives to drive innovation and excellence in our operations.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain global automation standards, including site-specific automation concepts and solutions.
- Develop and manage project plans, URS, FRS, and commissioning documents for new automated systems.
- Develop and present strategic initiatives, best practices, and key industry trends in automation and digital.
- Develop, automate, and validate data management processes.
- Create and maintain BI system and its infrastructure.
- Optimize, standardize, and upgrade existing automation technology and process control.
- Ensure availability and a target-oriented flow of systems and processes.
- Implement and administer access and virus protection, including back-up and disaster recovery plans for industrial automation systems.
- Proven successful deployment of automation and digital projects, including AGV, MES, Track & Trace, equipment integration, computer vision, data automation (ETL), and BI systems.
- Strong background in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or technically comparable studies.
- Relevant professional experience in electrical engineering and automation.
- Sound knowledge of process control systems and automation systems.
- Significant knowledge and experience in PLC and SCADA systems, network solutions, and virtual environment.
- Fluent programming skills, including Python, SQL, and familiarity with data analysis and statistics.
- Sound experience in project management and dealing with project planning methods and tools.
- Experience in defining, implementing, and managing work structures for the automation department.
- Leadership skills, high sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
