Job Title: Commercial Analyst DACH

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst DACH to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive Company. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for analyzing market, customer, and internal sales data to identify commercial opportunities across various market channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and correlate data from multiple sources to generate commercial insights.
  • Review available internal reports and KPIs to identify abnormalities and provide deeper analysis of root causes and potential correlations.
  • Collect and share data and insights about our competitors and customers.
  • Lead, coach, and develop one Associate Commercial Analyst.
  • Work with the Customer Development Manager and Key Account Managers to provide fact-based input on opportunities and suitable actions for the different channels and customers.
  • Participate in customer meetings to present insights and opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates to the Management, highlighting reasons for specific brand and/or customer performance.
  • Collaborate with others on special projects that require specific data analysis and insights.
Requirements:
  • University degree.
  • Fluency in German and English, French would be a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience in data analytics and/or market research and/or Finance.
  • First leadership experience is a plus.
  • Ambitious & willing to continue developing.
  • Maintains a positive attitude through challenging situations; highly resilient and advocates for change.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills; sets clear priorities.
  • Confident in challenging the status quo and identifying new opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrates clarity of thought in complex situations and can clearly explain scientific terms in simple, understandable language.
