About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Accounts Solutions Architect to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch). As a key member of our Solutions Architecture organization, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) among our strategic customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Relationship Management: You will be responsible for managing the technical relationship with our strategic customers, providing guidance on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures.
  • Customer Advocacy: Internally, you will act as an advocate for our customers, helping to drive continual improvements to the AWS platform and sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features and services.
  • Strategic Planning: You will work closely with our sales leadership to identify and pursue strategic opportunities, crafting new customer opportunities and product priorities.
  • Thought Leadership: As a trusted advisor to our strategic customers and partners, you will regularly evangelize Amazon solutions and roadmaps, showcasing your expertise as one of our thought-leading technical experts.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in enterprise architectures and cloud computing. You should possess excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to represent AWS well to SAP's developers, architects, and executives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-native reference architectures, with the ability to define or invent new architectures with the worldwide AWS Solutions Architect community.

Requirements
  • Experience: You should have experience within specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data & analytics.
  • Technical Skills: You should have experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures, as well as experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
  • Cloud Expertise: You should have experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective, with a strong understanding of cloud migration and transformation.
