Aircraft Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Operations Manager to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing aircraft operations, ensuring seamless coordination between production teams, design offices, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between various parties, including production teams, design offices, and program management.
  • Support the single aisle ramp-up and provide agile support to cover extraordinary workloads, shopfloor support, on-call duties, and weekend recovery.
  • Represent MAP REACT within the FAL organization, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with production, quality, manufacturing engineering, and other MAP specialist teams.
  • Support MAP specialists in ensuring the completeness of input required and facilitate the optimization of initiatives launched within the FAL organization.
  • Filter and prioritize MAP activities against operations in the FAL and working party phases, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare MAP engineering status for A/C milestones, ensuring that all open items are closed or agreed upon.
  • Manage NC-N priorities for FAL and pre-FAL topics, forecasting H&O's on upcoming issues.
  • Organize cabin walks and MFT's, identify specialists for production-MFT communication, and target dates with reasons in the MAP tool (Hubble).
  • React immediately to red engineering (NCN-) items per A/C and provide feedback to production about missing NCN-quality.
  • Maintain a good view of the complete technical history of aircraft.

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in aircraft construction, engineering, aerospace, or a comparable qualification.
  • More than two years of professional experience in engineering, aircraft construction, and manufacturing engineering.
  • More than one year of professional experience in configuration management.
  • MAP aircraft manager with a technical background and experience in FAL, including associated processes, to support the ongoing digitalization of MAP.
  • Good knowledge of SAP.
  • Proficient German and English skills.
