Procurement Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of tactical buyers and overseeing the purchase order process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manage a team of tactical buyers to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the purchase order process, including tracking open PO reports and communicating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with global supply chain teams to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies and drive improvements in supplier performance.
- Contribute to the introduction of new products and components, ensuring timely implementation and data reliability for customs compliance.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date vendor and material master data in the ERP system.
- Meet yearly KPI targets and maintain a well-documented and compliant process.
Requirements:
- Fluent English and German language skills.
- University/College certification.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position.
- Materials management knowledge, including planning, inventory management, and purchasing.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Engineering certification.
- Supply chain certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- SAP knowledge.
- Strong managerial courage, assertiveness, and ability to work through resistance to change.
