Job Description

Greetings from GMV We are seeking a skilled Operations Engineer for Crewed Flights to join our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain computer and network systems, as well as related services.
  • Execute real-time configuration changes and troubleshoot issues during operations.
  • Lead corrective maintenance efforts and serve as a single point of contact for Ground Segment-related issues.
  • Develop and validate operational, system, and test procedures.
  • Verify and test new and modified systems, interfaces, and configurations.
  • Document activities, configuration changes, and anomalies.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of specific subsystems and provide training to team members.
  • Define configurations and setups for forthcoming activities.
Requirements
  • Background and interest in space systems.
  • Space Data Systems and/or Ground Communications Technologies expertise.
  • Computer knowledge, including Standard Office applications, Linux, and/or Networking experience.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to apply logical thought processes in analyzing and troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Ability to work under stress and understand, prioritize, and filter several audio sources simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work a 3-shift system, including nights and holidays.
  • Good teamworking and communication skills.
  • Punctuality.
