About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Test Engineer to join our team at Quantum-Systems GmbH. As a key member of our Flight-Testing Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and endurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute flight tests to evaluate the performance and functionality of our UAVs, focusing on endurance and reliability.
  • Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure all necessary equipment is in working order.
  • Deal with error tickets to ensure a high level of quality assurance.
  • Analyze flight data and provide detailed reports on test results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any technical issues.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in UAV technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in UAV testing, with a focus on endurance testing.
  • Strong understanding of UAV systems and components.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans and procedures.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using flight test equipment and software.
  • You are highly self-motivated and drive your area of responsibility forward independently.
  • Your open, communicative, friendly and competent manner makes it easy for you to be seen as an internal expert by your colleagues
