Mission Planning Operations Engineer

As a Mission Planning Operations Engineer at GMV, you will play a key role in maintaining and updating the Galileo Control Center's planning tools and operational procedures. Your main tasks will be:

  • Preparation of Weekly Timeline, Team Plan and On-Call Plan for Galileo Satellite Constellation Operations
  • Coordination of the inputs received by the different Teams involved in Galileo Constellation Operations
  • Maintenance of the team internally developed tools & of the planning input database
  • Maintenance of the operational planning procedures and processes
  • Contribution to the training material update and improvement
  • Detection and reporting of anomalies on the ground segment
  • Supporting constellation planning from the Galileo Control Center in Italy (up to 1-2 times per year) for planned or unplanned scenarios, as required

We are looking for experts in IT, Telecommunications or a familiar field with interest in Space Operations. If you have a methodical, disciplined approach and are comfortable working strictly following procedures, we want to hear from you.
