Strategic Planning Director

ResMed is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Planning to join our Global Planning and Logistics team in Europe.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, cross-functional experience, financial and business acumen, as well as transformation skills to drive our planning function forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the planning team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure Planning team's success
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve demand forecasting accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations, logistics, finance, and other cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights to inform demand forecasts
  • Drive the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process, ensuring alignment between demand and supply plans
  • Effectively collaborate, negotiate, and influence across supply network to ensure ResMed maintains competitive advantage and agility in changing commercial markets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field, with demonstrated progression in leadership roles
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Proven cross-functional experience, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across sales, marketing, finance, and operations
