Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at TOMRA Recycling / Feedstock. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our plastic grading / sorting plants are filled with mixed plastic waste to recycle, while also driving sales of the output material.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the specifics of plastic waste and its circularity, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will work closely with our European network within the waste & recycling industry to identify new contacts and establish partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to meet sourcing & sales objectives
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the waste & recycling industry
  • Conduct feasibility tests with potential input material and analyze outcomes
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close agreements to secure input material

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, analyzing waste / recycling plants to fulfill sourcing needs
  • Understanding of recycling processes and specifics of plastic waste
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English, with German and/or another European language a plus
