Product Cost Engineering Specialist with Electronics Focus

Job Title: Product Cost Engineering Expert with Focus on Electronics

About the Job:

  • Develop and implement target costing strategies to optimize manufacturing costs for electronics products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine manufacturing costs, identify cost reduction opportunities, and develop action plans to achieve cost savings.
  • Provide guidance and training to specialist departments on production-oriented design, component selection, and arrangement.
  • Conduct consistency and plausibility checks of manufacturing cost calculations created by third parties or in SAP, including deviation analyses.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing cost evaluations and analyses for global footprint scenarios.
  • Support the creation of PCF evaluations within the scope of projects and for series products.

About You:

  • Hold a degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • Have several years of professional experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on manufacturing costs.
  • Have sound knowledge of electronics products and production processes.
  • Be proficient in MS Office and SAP, and ideally have experience with Siemens TcPCM.
  • Have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Be highly independent and analytical in your work approach.
  • Have strong team and customer orientation.
  • Be able to present, consult, and train effectively.
