Product Cost Engineering Specialist with Electronics Focus

Job Description

Your Role:

  • Lead the target costing process to derive target manufacturing costs for electronic products.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing cost reduction strategies within the framework of PDP and other projects, focusing on benchmarking and best practices.
  • Collaborate with specialist departments to ensure production-oriented design, component selection, and arrangement.
  • Verify and analyze manufacturing cost calculations created by third parties or in SAP, identifying deviations and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct manufacturing cost evaluations and analyses for global footprint scenarios.
  • Develop PCF evaluations within project scope and for series products.

Your Qualifications:

  • Completed studies in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on manufacturing costs.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics products and production processes.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and SAP, with experience in Siemens TcPCM a plus.
  • Proficient in German and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Independent and analytical work style, with strong team and customer orientation.
  • Excellent presentation, consulting, and training skills.
