We are seeking a highly skilled Product Cost Engineering Expert with a focus on electronics to join our team at Festo. As a key member of our industrial engineering team, you will play a crucial role in guiding our target costing process and deriving target manufacturing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to reduce manufacturing costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize production processes
- Conduct thorough cost analyses and create detailed cost evaluations for global footprint scenarios
- Provide expert guidance on production-oriented design, component selection, and arrangement
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of manufacturing cost calculations and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on manufacturing costs
- Proven expertise in electronics products and production processes
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train and advise specialist departments
