Sales Manager for Payment and Cash Management Services

Societe Generale is seeking a Sales Manager for Payment and Cash Management Services to join our team in Frankfurt am Main. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling Payment and Cash Management Services to our key clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the Payment and Cash Management industry. You will be responsible for farming an existing portfolio and hunting new clients that will bring significant NBI, transaction flows, and deposits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Selling Payment and Cash Management products and services, including bank accounts, virtual account structures, domestic and international means of payment, electronic banking channels, liquidity management solutions, domestic and international guarantees, credit facilities, and FOREX solutions.
  • Being the key sponsor of client Cash Management proposal creation and responses to domestic and international Request for Proposals (RFP).
  • Liaising closely with Client Service Teams to ensure successful on-boarding/implementation and/or addition of new products and services.
  • Monitoring and updating deals in CRM tool to ensure perfect communication with all stakeholders.
  • Monitoring required credit facilities (Overdrafts, Guarantees).
  • Launching Credit Applications, aligning with Credit & Risk Colleagues.
  • Complying with risk, regulatory, and compliance obligations at all times.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A university degree in economics, finance, or business administration, or a bank apprenticeship with advanced training.
  • PAYMENTS & CASH MANAGEMENT experience is required.
  • A mix of Relationship manager and pure sales capabilities (Deal hunter).
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment.
  • Expertise in payment systems domestic & international.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint Word).
  • Domestic guarantees & short-term credit facilities.
