Digital Transformation Leader

E.ON Inhouse Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Leader to join our team. As a key member of our ECON Senior Team, you will be responsible for leading our most important energy transformation projects and driving digital retail transformation across our business segments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing complex issues facing the energy sector and developing strategic and operational solutions for our energy retail business.
  • Working closely with the ECON management team to take our most important projects forward and achieve excellent results and high customer satisfaction.
  • Developing long-term relationships with our customers across E.ON Group's different business units and acting as a competent sparring partner for the top management team.
  • Steering and building up ECON internal expertise and knowledge to accelerate thought leadership topics that help ECON and E.ON manage the transformation.
  • Assuming leadership for international teams and fostering the personal and professional growth of our project managers and consultants with regular feedback and coaching.
  • Representing ECON in external matters and taking on a central internal role in areas such as marketing, recruiting, and training.

Requirements include:

  • An excellent university degree (master's/diploma) in a relevant field, with additional qualifications such as a doctorate or MBA a plus.
  • Fluent English in business, with the ability to present to board members, and German-speaking a benefit but not a must.
  • Proven experience as a successful project manager at a leading top management consulting firm or in other large-scale projects, with at least seven years' relevant work experience.
  • First-hand experience in digital business models and digital sales processes, emerging technology, and market dynamics.
  • Deep understanding of challenges in design, operation, and performance of digital sales channels and the ability to solve them.
  • Exceptional leadership skills that inspire and motivate team members to perform at their best, with a focus on developing talent and fostering professional growth.
