Your Job

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of high-quality IFRS17 financial planning for the non-life segment of the Munich Re Group. Your primary objectives will be to:

  • Coordinate and monitor the delivery of input data from various stakeholders, fostering a constructive work environment and strong communication within the interdisciplinary team.
  • Support the implementation and testing of the Group-wide financial year plan under the new IFRS 17 standard.
  • Develop and enhance systems and tool infrastructure for actuarial analyses and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the efficient execution of IFRS17 plan processing, quality assurance, and actuarial analyses of IFRS17 key figures.
  • Prepare and communicate information on financial year plan topics to various stakeholders, including IT and controlling colleagues, business units, and auditors.
Your Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field. Key qualifications include:

  • University degree with a quantitative focus.
  • Experience in an actuarial role, with knowledge of IFRS17 being a significant asset.
  • Strong affinity for working with large data sets and experience with programming languages such as R and SQL.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated team player with a focus on pragmatic development of innovative concepts and solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
