About the Role
Renesas Electronics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the Microcontroller Product Marketing Team as a Director of MCU Ecosystems and Solutions. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing worldwide MCU infrastructure development and coordination to help position Renesas for leadership in focused automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive MCU sales growth and increase market share in target applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing, to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key executives and engineering leads at target markets and OEMs.
- Formulate and implement engagement plans to influence sales and business unit teams to drive MCU business growth.
- Develop and execute platform and solution selling strategies at specified OEMs and Tier 1s.
- Work closely with business unit and sales teams to support and manage infrastructure for customers' design cycles from prototyping to mass production.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customer R&D management and drive strategic initiatives and application discussions with relevant teams.
- Foster a strong team culture based on accountability, execution of strategic targets, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong Microcontroller background and related infrastructure.
- Significant work experience in OEM and Tier 1 business and related requirements.
- Minimum 10 years of semiconductor industry-related experience with experience in product marketing and field application engineering, preferably in automotive.
- Willingness to travel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project teams to achieve targets and increase OEM, Tier 1, and broader market penetration.
