Your Role:
- Lead the optimization of technical and cost criteria for power transformers based on customer specifications and input from electrical designers.
- Review existing CAD designs and identify areas requiring updates to align with branding standards.
- Determine transformer tank type, cooling system details, and other external components.
- Create manufacturing drawings using Computer-aided design software for design modeling.
- Prepare customer approval documentation, including dimensional and transport drawings. Conduct structural analysis and initiate pre-orders for various components.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams, suppliers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrate initiative, work autonomously, possess excellent communication skills in English, and have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, particularly in large-scale transformers.
Your Background:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Possess solid foundational knowledge of electrical engineering and transformers.
- Be fluent in both German and English.
- Exhibit strong collaborative skills with mechanical and electrical teams, workshops, and suppliers.
- Have professional experience in mechanics.
