Cloud Service Development Expert

As a Cloud Service Development Expert at SAP, you will be part of a diverse team responsible for evolving the SAP Business Technology Platform. Your key responsibilities will include driving end-to-end development of infrastructure services, which are fundamental components of SAP and customer applications, as well as part of the event integration and enablement strategy at SAP.
Key Responsibilities:- Requirements discussions and backlog refinements
- Design & implementation decisions
- Demoing your work during regular review meetings
- Deploying, supporting & maintaining the solution
- Researching and prototyping alternative approaches and new technologies
- Taking ownership for development components
- Good degree in computer science or a related subject (such as business informatics, informatics, engineering) with 8+ years of experience in cloud-native development and cloud computing (CF / K8S)
- Very good knowledge and implementation practice in Go or Python
- Familiar with CI/CD and related tools and concepts
- Willingness to lead complex technical tasks and projects in changing environments
- Knowledge in building eventing/messaging-based solutions and a general interest in distributed systems is beneficial
- Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written; German language skills are beneficial
