Development Architect

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Development Architect to join our SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and establishing knowledge transfer concepts for BTP deployment and operations in sovereign, restricted, or private cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and document knowledge transfer concepts for BTP deployment and operations in sovereign, restricted, or private cloud environments.
- Collaborate with SAP learning, consulting, and BTP development teams to create standard trainings.
- Verify the completeness and usability of existing BTP operations documentation and identify gaps to make it customer-ready.
- Educate and support sovereign and private cloud stakeholders and third-party operators in operating SAP BTP services in sovereign and private cloud environments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in development architecture, product management, or cloud-native development with cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, containers, and hyperscaler APIs.
- Hands-on expertise in creating knowledge transfer materials for customers, such as presentations, videos, and rollout materials.
- Knowledge of BTP installation and operations processes on major hyperscalers, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and related tools.
- Exposure to at least one major BTP software component, such as Foundation, Gardener, HANA Cloud, SAC, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record of designing and solving challenging technical problems.
- Willingness to learn innovative technologies and adapt to team requirements.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
