Senior Manager Group Accounting Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Group Accounting to join our team at EagleBurgmann. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the Group Accounting & Consolidation division and providing expert guidance on complex IFRS accounting issues.
Key Responsibilities- Technical management of the Group Accounting & Consolidation division, ensuring seamless execution of financial processes and reporting.
- Processing of complex IFRS accounting issues, providing expert sparring partner support to divisional management and decentralized finance teams.
- Independent consolidation of quarterly and annual financial statements for EagleBurgmann subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
- Preparation of financial statements and subgroup reporting in accordance with IFRS for the EagleBurgmann subgroup, driving continuous improvement of reporting, consolidation, and closing processes.
- Facilitating collaboration between finance teams of international subsidiaries and the corporate accounting team of the Freudenberg parent company, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Participation in projects and special topics, such as mergers, asset/share deals, carve-outs, initial consolidations, and deconsolidations, ensuring accurate and timely implementation in consolidated financial statements.
- Direct and regular contact with auditors of the EagleBurgmann subgroup, including participation in audit planning and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Completed studies in economics, business informatics, industrial engineering, or training as a bachelor of professional accounting.
- Several years of specialist professional experience in group accounting, consolidation, or related areas, preferably in an international, production-oriented company.
- Expert knowledge of consolidation methods and processes, as well as very good knowledge of consolidation software (preferably Hyperion Financial Management).
- In-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with a structured and solution-oriented approach to complex contexts.
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel and fluent written and spoken German and English.
