Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing tools and equipment for assembly and production purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop tools and equipment for assembly and production purposes
  • Use Siemens NX software to create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings
  • Prepare design concepts for requesters and review purposes
  • Make critical decisions about design technical solutions and concepts
  • Create Bill of Materials (BOM) using custom-designed, standard, and supplier part catalogues
  • Modify existing designs and perform documentation of existing products
  • Participate in meetings related to work, project-related sessions, and design reviews
  • Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing execution and testing issues
  • Perform administrative tasks related to work

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tooling design for assembly and production purposes
  • Profound experience using Siemens NX software on a daily basis
  • Understanding of tolerancing systems and industry standards (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing - GD&T, standard and supplier catalogues)
  • Relevant knowledge about manufacturing methods, materials, and processes (manufacturability, design to manufacture, and design to cost)
  • Relevant IT/computer/communication skills
  • Communicative English (min. B2 level)
