Tooling Designer Position

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Designer to join our team at Orizon GmbH, Unit Aviation. As a Tooling Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing tools, fixtures, and production equipment for our aerospace industry client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings for tools and fixtures.
  • Prepare design concepts for review and approval by requesters.
  • Make critical decisions regarding design technical solutions and concepts.
  • Create Bills of Materials (BOM) using custom-designed, standard, and supplier part catalogues.
  • Modify existing designs and document existing products.
  • Participate in project-related meetings, design reviews, and concept presentations.
  • Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing execution and testing issues.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to work.
Requirements:
  • High proficiency in tooling design and Siemens NX.
  • Several years of experience in tooling design for assembly and production purposes.
  • Experience using Siemens NX (NX12-NX2212) on a daily basis.
  • Understanding of tolerancing systems, industry standards, and relevant knowledge about manufacturing methods, materials, and processes.
  • Fluent English skills, both spoken and written.
