Sales Engineering Manager, Germany

Rubrik is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineering Manager to lead our German region team. As a key member of our EMEA Management team, you will be responsible for building and retaining a high-performing Sales Engineering team, driving revenue growth, and executing a comprehensive strategy to maximize Rubrik's position in the German market.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive sales growth and revenue expansion in the German region.
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure they meet their sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, customers, and stakeholders to drive business growth and expand Rubrik's presence in the German market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to develop and execute sales strategies, campaigns, and programs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and ensure Rubrik remains competitive.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Rubrik's products, services, and solutions to effectively communicate their value to customers and partners.
- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, and sales performance metrics to ensure accurate forecasting and revenue growth.
- Conduct regular business reviews, provide coaching and feedback, and make adjustments to sales strategies as needed to drive business results.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in a technical sales or sales engineering capacity.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, revenue expansion, and team leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, data analytics, and data security/cyber resiliency solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on teamwork, customer satisfaction, and business results.
- Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
