We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Purchasing Team Lead and contribute to the development of our premium brands such as Husqvarna and Gardena.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of purchasers with different focus areas and drive strategic and operational management.
  • Review and manage processes to optimize supply chain efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop a successful supplier strategy, including identifying and developing new suppliers.
  • Analyze market trends and derive options for action to drive business growth.
  • Support and develop your team in day-to-day operations and standardize internal processes and procedures.
  • Monitor supplier performance and define and manage national and international projects in the area of purchasing.
  • Collaborate closely with project management and R&D to ensure supplier goals for delivery, cost, and quality are met.

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, logistics, or a comparable field, ideally supplemented by specialized further training.
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing, both nationally and internationally.
  • First experiences in disciplinary management in national and international teams.
  • Expertise in strategic and operational collaboration with suppliers and partners in Asia and Eastern Europe.
  • Social skills, team-orientation, ability to work under pressure, assertiveness.
  • Strong negotiating and communication skills.
  • Goal- and results-orientated way of working and the ability to think analytically in business terms.
  • Experience in lean management is an advantage.
  • Advanced SAP/CRM knowledge and confident handling of MS Office.
  • Business fluent in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel.
