We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Purchasing Team Lead and contribute to the development of our premium brands such as Husqvarna and Gardena.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of purchasers in strategic and operational management, focusing on supply chain optimization and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement a successful supplier strategy, identifying and developing new suppliers to meet business needs.
  • Conduct annual price negotiations and negotiate framework agreements to drive cost savings.
  • Analyze market trends and derive options for action to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Support and develop your team in day-to-day operations, standardizing internal processes and procedures.
  • Monitor supplier performance using measurable KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with project management and R&D on new product projects, ensuring supplier goals for delivery, cost, and quality are met.
  • Monitor and support suppliers in regards to environmental, social, and governance.

About You:

  • Hold a degree in industrial engineering, business administration, logistics, or a comparable field, with specialized further training.
  • Have several years of extensive professional experience in purchasing, both nationally and internationally.
  • Have first-hand experience in disciplinary management in national and international teams.
  • Have expertise in strategic and operational collaboration with suppliers and partners in Asia and Eastern Europe.
  • Be a strong communicator with social skills, team-orientation, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Be goal- and results-orientated, with the ability to think analytically in business terms.
  • Have experience in lean management and advanced SAP/CRM knowledge.
  • Be fluent in German and English, with a willingness to travel.
