Job Summary

Rochester Electronics GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Business Development Manager to join our team in the DACH region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the DACH region, building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue growth and increase market share in the region.
  • Customer Management: Manage customer activities within the defined region, working closely with internal teams to introduce our products and services to customers and increase the customer portfolio.
  • Account Management: Identify target customers, build relationships, and develop strategies to grow the account base within the specified region.
  • Lead Generation: Generate new business leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and online research.
  • Forecasting: Accurately forecast new business opportunities and revenue for the region, ensuring timely and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
  • CRM Management: Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and analyze sales performance.
  • Communication: Provide effective communication and service to the customer base, navigating internal priorities to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
  • Travel: Travel within the assigned region will be expected at a minimum of 50%.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics-related subjects or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven business development, sales, and management experience in the electronic component/semiconductor industry.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German and English language is essential; any additional languages would be advantageous.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to influence others internally and externally, strong relationship-building skills, and ability to navigate and effectively manage business partners and suppliers.
  • Other Requirements: Must hold a full current driving license and be able and willing to travel.
