Test Manager Position

For our Product Development IDMS department, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Test Manager to join our team in Munich or Berlin.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Management of international test teams
  • Analysis of requirements based on specifications and/or user stories, creation of corresponding test concepts, test specifications, test plans, and test protocols
  • Creation of test data, test execution, and documentation, progress report
  • Conceptualization of test automation for the business line and its implementation
  • Creation of checklists/test specifications and execution of quality tests for various customer acceptance tests (product release, factory and site acceptance tests)
  • Reporting of test progress, identified bugs, and validation of bug fixes
  • Creation of technical documentation, including software release notes
  • Support in the creation of technical requirements for the test service supplier, review of offers, supervision of progress (completeness, fulfillment of requirements, quality)

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • A degree from a technical university or a comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in the field of testing
  • Experience in managing international test teams
  • Certifications such as iSTQB Certified Tester Fundamental Level or similar and/or IT security-related certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or (ISC)2 CISSP
  • Intercultural experience and a team player
  • A high degree of independence, goal-oriented and independent work, as well as a high level of commitment
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is desirable
  • Excellent English language skills, with German or the willingness to learn German being desirable
