**Job Overview**

We are seeking an International Kitchen Assistant to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing delicious meals for our customers. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to food preparation and service, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Set up glasses, silverware, butter, condiments, salads, desserts, bread, and cold beverages on serving counters as instructed.
  • Remove soiled dishes from tables and transport them to the dishwashing unit. Wipe or wash tables.
  • Clean, scrub, wipe, or wash service equipment such as worktables and refrigerators.
  • Prepare dishes for the dishwasher by separating food waste and trash, prerinsing dishes, and loading dishes in the dishwasher. Stack and store clean dishes.
  • Perform a variety of duties incidental to the maintenance and cleanliness of the area to which assigned.

**Requirements:**

  • No specific experience or education required. The candidate must be able to perform the duties under guidance after a short period of on-the-job instructions.
  • A German driver's license class B is desired.
  • English Language Proficiency level A1 and German Language Proficiency level A2 are required.

**Benefits:*

  • Competitive salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 per annum.
  • 30 days of annual leave; 36 days for severely handicapped employees.
