About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Layout Planner to join our team at GULP – experts united. As a Layout Planner, you will be responsible for planning and further developing production structures and manufacturing processes in cooperation with structural project management and structural planning.
Your Responsibilities
- Independent planning and further development of production structures and manufacturing processes in cooperation with structural project management and structural planning from the start of assembly to the handover of sales, including coordination with the logistics environment, in order to fulfill the overarching corporate, plant and technology objectives.
- You are mobile and flexible in the production network and ensure a continuous exchange with your counterparts in other locations and projects.
- Review of externally produced plant/facility and provision drawings and approval of concept layouts. Responsible for compliance with accident and occupational safety guidelines (escape routes, room sizes, social facilities) for conversions and new plans.
- Awarding and supervision of external companies. Technical inspection and approval of work execution and content. Ensuring that deadlines are met during execution.
- Cross-technology coordination of space allocation in assembly and development of solutions to interface problems.
- Independently recording, maintaining and providing area data and deriving suitable measures to optimize the area situation.
- Collaboration as plant assembly representative in the definition and specification of BMW standards in the specialist team: e.g. delivery specifications, equipment standards, e.g. for social rooms, etc.
- Implementation and further development of IT planning tools in the area of “virtual planning/factory” (e.g. Microstation, Unreal, Envidia, Omniverse).
Your Profile
- Degree in industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
- You have experience in planning and implementing layouts for buildings and systems.
- You have knowledge of integrating plant construction processes into existing or new structures.
- You have proven experience in project management, ideally in the field of construction and plant projects.
- You have experience in the selection, commissioning and management of external suppliers and service providers.
- You actively monitor the elimination of all identified defects.
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
