About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Solutions Architect to join our team at Dusseldorf Airport. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solution architectures for IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a technology map, identifying and recommending IT technologies and native cloud services to support business needs.
  • Implement cloud-based Kubernetes clusters and DevOps pipelines to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with IT governance to develop a FinOps concept, providing transparency over cloud operations costs and low-code platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, or Software Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a developer or system architect, preferably with Java-based development experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of software and integration patterns, as well as development experience in Java and frameworks such as SpringBoot, Angular/React.
  • Experience in implementing and working with cloud service-based Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a strong customer orientation and entrepreneurial mindset.
