Senior Pre-Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pre-Construction Manager to join our team at Amazon Deutschland Services GmbH - A11. As a key member of our Design and Construction team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects from site selection to design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage cross-functional industrial projects, coordinating with design teams and stakeholders to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
- Keep project scope under control, driving crisp and timely decisions, and identifying and clearing blockers.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive results through effective communication, risk management, and decision-making.
- Oversee professional service providers to ensure their skills and competencies meet project requirements.
- Perform pricing reviews, negotiate costs with developers, contractors, and design consultants, and estimate project costs.
- Manage Due Diligences, schedule tracking, and forecasting to ensure successful project handovers.
- Supervise the implementation and management of Amazon's safety programs and standards.
- Negotiate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality execution and innovation.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable field.
- Solid demonstrable project management experience from design phase to implementation and operation.
- Experience in packaging processing/logistical facilities with complex equipment or comparable experience.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Willingness to travel frequently through Europe, up to 30% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field.
- Experience operating within at least two disciplines in the construction industry.
- Demonstrated capability in planning, design review, and implementation, and project management/control of new structures and existing facility buildings.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary design incorporating industrial automation, robotics, or similar.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
- Demonstrated success in communicating to various audiences.
- Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
