About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer Liner to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale polyamide container development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement polyamide container designs that meet the required properties for hydrogen storage and integration into Type 4 hydrogen tanks.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement technical solutions for container production.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for container development projects.
  • Work closely with industrialization specialists to determine the necessary machinery and equipment for in-house production.
  • Ensure project milestones are met in line with the company's hydrogen tank development goals.
  • Oversee the development process until certification is achieved.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field. You should have a proven track record of working in the plastics industry, with a focus on container production.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the plastics industry, with a focus on container production.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects and teams.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Fluency in English and German languages.
