Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Supporter to join our team in Ratingen near Düsseldorf, Germany. As a Desktop Supporter, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and optimize desktop/notebook configurations at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
- Perform maintenance and repair services.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance.
- Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
Requirements:
- Several years of relevant Desktop Support experience (on site/remote).
- Proficient in Windows operating system environment; knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems may be required.
- Strong customer interaction skills.
- A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required.
- Fluent in German language, good knowledge of English language.
