We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer-Field Expert to join our Field Service Team in Ship Electrification Solutions within the business unit Project Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch electrical power generation solutions to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintenance, and warranty works in electrical power generation, power distribution, hybrid technology & electric drive systems
  • System testing and analysis on equipment and systems on site
  • Testing and acceptance of installations as well as necessary adjustments
  • Supervision of sea trials, training of ship's crews
  • Presentation and handover of equipment systems to the ship owner, shipyard, and classification societies
  • Preparation of service/installation reports as well as feedback on technical content/changes to involved departments
  • Support and guidance of remote commissioning for other departments of the group

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Ships Operational Technology or equivalent
  • Professional experience in power generation plants, control, and converter technology, medium-voltage systems
  • Knowledge in customer service and ship operation
  • SPS skills desirable
  • Structured and practical way of working with hands-on attitude
  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel frequently around the world
