Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at IONITY. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to minimize system downtime, performing onsite root cause analysis, and ordering and handling of spare parts for our High Power Charging Stations.

The ideal candidate will have a professional certified electrician background, with experience in low voltage up to 1000VAC/1500VDC. You will also have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work effectively with external service providers.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including developing processes, documentation, and diagnostic knowledge for standard service actions. You will also be responsible for recognizing trends and patterns in field failures and providing feedback to the central team to drive improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support to minimize system downtime
  • Performing onsite root cause analysis and service, repair, and maintenance actions
  • Ordering and handling of spare parts for our HPC stations
  • Debugging systems and performing remote diagnostics on field failures by reviewing data logged
  • Supporting in developing processes, documentation, and diagnostic knowledge for standard service actions
  • Recognizing trends and patterns in field failures and providing feedback to the central team to drive improvements

Requirements include:

  • Professional certified electrician background
  • Experience in low voltage up to 1000VAC/1500VDC
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems
  • Ability to work effectively with external service providers
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
