Job Description:
As an Underwriting Support Specialist at HDI AG, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Underwriting team in the development and implementation of underwriting strategies and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert support in the evaluation, analysis, and management of underwriting risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Underwriting team to develop and implement underwriting strategies and processes that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of underwriting risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and clients, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide expert support in the management of underwriting data and analytics, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in underwriting, and apply this knowledge to improve underwriting processes and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of underwriting policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements:
- Relevant education and experience in underwriting, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in underwriting software and systems, including data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
