Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Data Production Manager to join our team at Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth, Germany.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production of technical data for one civil helicopter program, ensuring compliance with defined processes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end production management of technical data, including internal and external contributions from squads and subcos.
  • Master planning and tactical planning management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical data.
  • Negotiation and alignment with stakeholders, including Chief Engineering and Programs.
  • Production monitoring, analysis, and reporting to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
  • Contribution to workload and capacity analysis with the Head of Metier.
  • Leadership of production management routines and processes.
  • Monitoring and improvement of unit costs and identifying opportunities to enhance products and processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to make-or-buy strategy and safety, ethics, and export control compliance.
  • Contribution to the development of production tools and strategies.
  • Leadership of problem-solving processes related to planning and workload/capa issues.
  • Validation of work unit requests for external partners and provision of regular forecast updates.
  • Production of daily, weekly, and monthly technical data reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in design office or tech data management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical thinking and experience with project management.
  • Experience in coordinating multinational teams and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • English is a must, and German is a plus.
